Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

PinDog is operated by QRANGE DIGITAL LTD., a British Columbia company (BC1538178). By accessing or using PinDog, you enter into an agreement with QRANGE DIGITAL LTD. under these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The PinDog service

PinDog helps users discover potentially dog-friendly places and keep private records of visits with their dogs. Place data may come from Google Places, PinDog review, public information, and user suggestions. Features and coverage may change as the service develops.

3. Verify place rules and conditions

Dog access rules, leash requirements, hours, hazards, and seasonal restrictions can change without notice. PinDog does not guarantee that a place is safe, open, legally accessible, or suitable for a particular dog. Before visiting, check posted signs, official local authority information, and current conditions. You remain responsible for supervising your dog and following applicable laws and property rules.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for providing an email address you control and for protecting access to login links sent to that address. Do not share login links. You may delete your account using the in-app Delete Account control.

5. Your submissions

You retain responsibility for information, notes, and photos you submit. You must have the right to submit that content, and it must not be unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or unsafe. Private Journal content remains private in V1.0. Suggested Spot content is not published automatically and may be reviewed, rejected, corrected, or removed by PinDog.

If PinDog approves factual place information from a suggestion, you grant PinDog permission to use, edit, and display that non-exclusive submission to operate and improve the place directory. PinDog may retain approved place facts without linking them to your account after account deletion.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misuse PinDog, interfere with the service, access another user's account, submit malicious code, scrape the service at scale, misrepresent place rules, impersonate others, or use PinDog to violate law or cause harm.

7. Third-party services

PinDog uses or links to services such as Google Maps, Google Places, Apple Maps, Supabase, and Apple platform services. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. PinDog is not responsible for third-party service availability or independent third-party content.

8. Availability and changes

PinDog may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may correct or remove inaccurate information. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service integrity, or violations of these terms.

9. Disclaimer

PinDog is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or complete, current, or error-free place information. PinDog does not provide veterinary, legal, emergency, or professional safety advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, QRANGE DIGITAL LTD. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of PinDog, third-party places, user submissions, or reliance on place information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
